Is this a WILD or DEILD?

This morning I woke up during a dream and then just tried to go back to sleep as you do. However, during that process, those 'memory impression' things you get as you're close to a dream became stronger and stronger until eventually I found myself no longer in my bed and viewing random scenes, but actually in this random scene, with full control, in the same place as I was before, although on top of one of the buildings instead of being on the ground.
To my recollection, I don't recall losing consciousness. I just tried to go back to sleep and then found myself being able to 'step into' the dream as it were, surprised at what I had just achieved.

Is this a WILD or a DEILD?

It was a WILD as you had awakened first.

What's the difference between that and a DEILD though? Doesn't DEILD require you to wake up first out of a dream and then go back into it?

In the DEILD, you wake up without moving or getting up from the bed itself, simply without breaking the SP from the previous dream.
In the WILD, you usually wake up and get comfortable, move a bit and similar things.

Ah, that clears things up then. Thanks

And Ino Jay, just wanted to be sure of what it was I had achieved, for future reference.
