Tips for me and people like me?

I have 6 nights worth of 3-4 dreams in my journal. The amount and variety seems to be increasing each night. My first night was just sitting in a cafe looking at a water spillage on the table, last nights was 3 different games where random stuff happened and 2 about 2 different tv show characters.

I attained SP twice in the one night- I fell asleep at 11-12, woke up at 3:30, had the SP's at around 4:00 I think. I wasn't sure what I should do, so I waited till it wore off before I tried to fall asleep. Silly me.

What would be the best technique for me to follow now? Im currently just noting my dreams and trying to fall asleep normally, but I want to attempt a lucid dream right now!

Do reality checks throughout the day and try to be aware of things going on. If you can be aware all day long, then you should be able to LD every night, but being aware all day long is very very hard to do!

I forgot to include that; I reality check everytime I think of it, which is about 1-2 times an hour, maybe more.
I do the finger through palm, counting my fingers, and asking myself how I got to where I currently was.

What technique should I be using though? Which is best/easiest for newbies?

WBTB is hard when you have to get up at 6 for school.

It sounds like you are on the right track. 3:30-4:00 seems to be your magic time. Try to wake around 4:00 am, even if it is only for a few minutes. Remind yourself that the next thing you see will be a dream, and fall back to sleep. You don't need a full, lengthy WBTB. This will hugely improve your chances.

Yeah since you have to get up at 6, do a WBTB combined with MILD, i think that would be good. Say something like, "In 10 minutes I will reality check."

I... don't have to get up at 6. I don't think I ever mentioned that.. lol.

Thanks though, tonight or maybe Friday night I will set my alarm to go off then. I think WBTB is a good technique for me, I can see it working. WILDS and that don't really seem to have much chance of working with me- I reality check all day, and I never even have dreams where I have a physical body- only 2 in the the last week.

I tried all day awareness at around 11 o clock today when I thought of it.

      ....

No chance of it ever working. I'l keep up on WBTB and trying to rc in my dreams.

Don't give up. Once you get better at it, it will become a habit and you will barely even have to think about it!

If you keep practicing it you will get better at it, it really is a wonderfull technique. In the beginning, you'll probably have to practice in your spare time, but it'll get natural after a while.
