hey.. i know iv been quiet but i have a serious qeustion..

I didn't think it would become this serious this quickly, but i want to prepare myself as quickly as possible aswell. i had a dream this morning, which seems to put some of the puzzle pieces in place. it appears as if something is studying me, it has even possibly (im not for sure on this yet) impersonated what i can only think of as a dream guide for me. so here's my question, i would like to know if any of you have any, say suggestions on becoming lucid, i know its a tricky question but i found a weakness (sort of) my mind, or this thing, is trying to keep from realising im dreaming, that, along with things that repeatedly happen in recurring dreams. i have been making these my dream signs, although i am be'ing countered by having those things taken away. i know our brain attempts to keep dreams away from us as a memory, but even if this is merely my ego, i would not want it to get the upper hand, even for this moment. so please, any information may help, thank you dearly for your help whoever has chosen to read this far. p. s. i fear my ego could be participating in reading this also, so if done, be somewhat careful on any answer you may have, thank you.

Hi. Is this person who is studying you a member here on DV? Are they near you in reality? Assuming you aren't trolling, if you are in any danger you should call the police.

Have you heard about ADA? It stands for all day awareness. There is a thread on it by KingYoshi but I'm on my iPod and can't find it. I would suggest practicing ADA if you would like to become lucid every night.

I don't really think it's possible that anyone in mentally stalking you and keeping you from becoming lucid but I won't say it's impossible.

dont worry about it. i felt at first like my mind was stopping me becomming lucid, but it was just my own negativity creeping in and its realistic that we will all have doubts at first. you are doing the right thing by using the recurring dreams as a a dreamsign, so carry on with that and you will get there. read the "stupid ways people have missed being lucid" thread and you will se that it is very common for the mind to seem to play tricks on you.

i think your mind is only protecting you from going too fast and getting ahead of yourself into things you dont perhaps feel ready for yet, but it will pass. sometimes we have recurring dreams for reasons that we have to figure out though. it may be helpful if you can share the dreams and see if people can help you get an insight into them. good luck

"Are you out of your mind?
You dug yourself into a liar's hole
You made a little spark to live inside
It's now a f***ing fire out of control"

lol, thank you guys, white i totally see where your coming from. the government post gave me a good laugh, although if our government was really doing that it would be really weird. it makes sense that my mind could be trying to slow me down, when i heard of lucid dreaming i immediately jumped into it, the first time i realised i was dreaming, to check if i was, i jumped through a wall. after that worked i just flew off thinking it was amazing. it didn't take long to shoot my first chi blast, defeat my first nightmare.. i even stopped having them for awhile. now this single entity is nawing at me, trying to scare me as much as possible while keeping me from realising im dreaming, lately it has been useing sex, yes i am a guy, so at first this worked, but when the girl turns into something trying to scare me.. its obvious which one it is. this morning. it muted me. i rushed a chi blast so much, it was too weak to hardly do anything. know this has not interefered with my morale, i laugh at the fool who wants to play with a conscious Be'ing in a dream-state. tho i will not be fooled, this is a powerful entity.
