      Question Can someone please answer this?

      Hi, so basicly, i'v been trying to lucid dream since september 2010, and i'v tried and tried and only have had 16 lucids up to now,

      i got my last few by going to sleep as normal, with the intention of lucid dreaming , but not really caring, and repeating affirmations to myself to remember my dreams, but when it worked the first night, i tried it the second night, with confidence and believed it would work and it didnt, . can anyone explain what i did wrong?

      16 lucids in 6 months... not bad at all. You are doing nothing wrong except expecting too many lucid dreams.

      I tried for a several months in 2006 then a few years later for a few months months then two weeks ago I decided to try again. I have had 0 lucid dreams total. According to Stephen Laberge in Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming autosuggestion will only work a few times a month on average. You should try MILD or WBTB if you want more lucid dreams.
