Things I've done while Lucid:
- Flying - Dream Rewind and Fast Forward
- Invisibility - Shapeshifting - Grown Wings
- Summoning [mastered (?)] - Zip lining
- Fireball
You achieved a full on WILD but you couldn't transition into a dream? That makes absolutely no sense. |
|
It might not have been SP; it could just have been numbness? Sort of like a dead leg? SP generally results in you being completely unable to move, so I hope that's not what happens to you in lessons |

"No... my avatar isn't changing. You're changing."
I took too much cold medicine one time in junior high, and had a spontaneous out of body experience during class. It can happen. Were you fighting off sleep during a boring lecture? That seems to be an awesome time to WILD. That groggy, "nodding off," feeling is exactly what you are trying to achieve during a WILD. Your body is falling asleep, but you are fighting to pay attention and stay aware. |

Pardon me, haha, I was wrong, I meant to say "a full on sleep paralysis" I was dozing off during that time, but luckily the teacher didn't care. I felt the vibrations, and it was quite strong, the noise was really loud too, and the hypnagogic hallucinations I was seeing were quite vivid. But yes, I'm sorry, I almost WILDed then. . . |

sure is, more borin then rying to get to SP |

Before I got into lucid dreaming I would get the 'tinglies' all the time (and I still do). Generally during long lectures when I was very relaxed and had a bit of a sleep deficit going, I would start feeling tingly vibrations in my extremities and a feeling as if I was spinning or shaking very quickly. I didn't really know what was going on, but it was always a super enjoyable feeling and it made the lectures tons more fun |
|
I don't think that was SP. I was told by Pan, one of the best lucid dreamers around, that there are two sets of vibrations: the initial ones that come from being numb after around 5 minutes, and the actual SP, which might not happen for 2 hours. It sounds like you were experiencing the first type, which is just your body adjusting to not moving for several minutes. |

Only "weird" place I've tried was in a car. I got to SP, but couldn't keep my mind focused enough for a WILD. Effective though! |
