      What Am I Doing Wrong?

As you can see by my join date, I have been trying to obtain lucidity for a while now. To this day I haven't obtained complete lucidity for a good amount of time...

I know a lot about Lucid Dreaming and the different techniques, but I can't quite get any down. It's summer break now, and I'm determined to obtain complete lucidity.

Does anyone have advice? I have tried many things but I just can't get it...

      Thank you!
      Are you dreaming?

Finally getting into things and recalling 3-6 dreams a night

      You aren't doing anything wrong.
Sometimes it just takes a bit longer than other people to lucid dream. What you should do, just stop trying to LD for about a week, don't do techniques, just KNOW you will lucid dream without having to do anything. Try to always switch up techniques you try, that is really effective. When you begin to get upset if you don't have one, then stop trying for a few days and try again.
      Good luck
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

I have plenty of advice for you. First off your mindset is a huge part of lucid dreaming. If you fall asleep expecting to lucid dream, your odds of success go up exponentially. And if you fall asleep expecting not to lucid dream your odds go down.

I would pick one technique and stick with it. DILD is a very good choice.

Make sure you DJ every day and reality check as much as possible. Give lucid dreaming a very strong attempt this summer and you will see success.

Hey, me too, except for the being on this site for a while. I just came out of a break, one thing to note down is that you shouldn't lay of dream journaling, even on a break. I did, one night I just wrote "Taking a break". Next night, I have zilch dreams. Not one. So I went back to writing them down, got them back.

Take a break if you want, but don't stop journaling, it's only a backwards step.

That's probably one of my major problems, I was recalling about 3-6 dreams/night then I stopped journaling.. now I may remember one, and it's really fuzzy. I'll try and focus on journaling more now.

      Thanks for your support everyone
