How can I get back into dreaming?

A few years ago, I was really interested in dreams, so I started keeping a dream journal and checking reality by looking at my hands. Keeping the journal was the hardest part for me, since I typically have a hard time doing anything immediately after waking up, so I didn't really learn to much from it. I got in control of a few dreams, but it was nothing consistent.

Now that I have some more free time for summer, I'd like to try it again. Any suggestions on good schedules, routines, and whatnot I can do daily to increase my chances of having more lucid dreams?

      - Dream Journal (Most important for starting out)
      - ADA
      - Positivity in yourself
      - Vitamins
      - Subliminal Messaging or Binaural Beats

You never stop dreaming. You only stop remember dreams as well. The things you're trying to achieve is improving your ability to be able to remember dreams so that when you are aware inside one, you will remember it after waking. Dreams are stored in a different part of the brain than waking memories but like any other muscle, it can be exercised and improved. Start off with trying to get up your recall to at least 1-2 dreams a night before really trying to focus on becoming lucid. No point in knowing you're in a dream if you can't remember.

Welcome back to the dreamscape! It's a lovely place where magical things happen and reality is given a big "fuck you".

Try the WBTB technique, it's pretty reliable and doesn't take a lot of effort.

I definitely suggest keeping a notebook and a writing utensil at your bedside. That way, all you have to do is roll over and jot down some quick notes about the dreams you had. Dream Journaling is very important if you want to get into dreaming. Maybe you could get a cheap voice recorder somewhere and recall dreams into it in the morning. It may be easier than writing them down. Dream Journaling really helps build up recall along with many other benefits.
