      Lame lucid last night.

I have been working so hard since I got back from my break, finally last night I had a LD.

I'm in my room, I'm trying to turn on the lights, but they wont work. I say to myself, "Dude... this is a dream" I do the nose plug RC to confirm. Then.... I wake up.

And no, I didn't have a burst of excitement or anything, I was actually quite calm.

      Oh well, I guess it's a start.

Congrats! Any lucid is a good start, regardless of whether or not the dream stayed around.
Maybe you were just at the end of the dream; sometimes they can be pretty short.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I noticed your LD count was up again. You out of your dry spell situation?

I think, yeah. I had a lucid 2 nights ago, and a semi-lucid last night (that wasn't anything fun; I just looked at some flowers and opened a door to an airport).

sometimes dreams are just like that, like Puffin said
so just try to go with the floowwww

-debating whether this should be moved to lucid experiences?-
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

Thats what happened to me I think for my first lucid. I did some stuff for about 10 seconds then I woke up, at about 8am, which is about the end time of my last REM cycle, which sucks.

At least it's easier from now on, and any lucid is better than no lucid.
