My current plan; Will it work!?

Currently I've regained intrest in lucid dreaming from a small recess period. My plan is - every time my watch chimes (hour passes) to do a reality check, By looking at my surroundings and thinking it is real or not and seeing it it can actualy happen , Then I close my eyes and try to create somthing with my mind.. If I cant I must be awake. I was wondering if this all sounds like it will lead to LDs? or should I do more? Also I would like to try WILDS when I get spare time but alas I still have along way to go.

That sounds like a good idea, especially if you keep your watch next to your bed at night!

*smack self in head* why didn't I think of that?

I'd be carefull, from what I hear closing your eyes can be dangerous and lead to waking up!
      My first LD:The Beings

And now, almost a year later, that's still the only one I've had...

ya, dont close your eyes...just do a reality check every hour...ie try to read your watch then look away the read it again and see if it changes...or try to push your finger through your hand...if you do that every time your watch rings it should increase LDs...as for trying to notice anything wierd going on, you hafta remember that although your dreams can be outright outrageous, your subconcious will trick your concious into thinking its normal anyway...i had a dream recently where i was breathing underwater, and i thought 'hey, how can i breathe underwater?' but theni explained it away to myself as 'i geuss im getting air from somewhere...' i geuss my concious is very gullible roflmao

i've tried that before. my problem, however, was that i didn't notice my watch chiming as i was sleeping. thus, make sure you can hear your watch while you sleep!
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

Odd, I just started doing the exact same thing about a week ago. Still no success, but I think I can only hear my watch sometimes because the alarm barely ever wakes me up. I have to use my huge radio alarm too.

I dont seem to have dreams at all during school days; Well I do but only remember fragments of it (due to being used to sleeping in untill 12) It was funny the one I woke up on today I was saying "this is lucid" but I was saying it thinking it meant nothing so nothing happend. so thats one problem.. But seriously thanks for the help; On top of the watch thing is there anything else I can do to increase LDs?
