I've found that a great way to cure a dry spell for lucid dreams or even dream recall is to just start over from scratch. Spending a week to a month just on the basics with a new way of looking at things helps to further build and refine lucid dreaming styles. Going over the information you've gathered over the course of you dreaming career helps find what is and is not working.
For me this includes setting an alarm for 6 hours after bed & recording when I wake up, for about a week or two. after that I take away the alarm and do it by auto suggestion, by that time most peoples bodies will understand that they want to wake up after a dream; I do that for about a week then start really applying WILD, MILD, and the awareness tech. as told by Naiya and KingYoshi. The first three weeks are to build my foundation and then build on that foundation with what I already know and some new things I just learned.
Hope this helps. Have an interesting day.
