Need help finding a technique to stick to

Alrighty - a little background on me. I found out about lucid dreaming the day I joined this site, almost 2 years ago. I've always been kind of lazy, LDing included. At the start I was DJing/RCing/random awareness everyday like a good boy, but after around a month with no results I got kinda lost, hopeless. I've been half assing it since then. I might do it for a week or so then get bored of no results. I just came back from a break of trying of around 4-5 months. I have a knew mindset with LDing. I'm ready to commit to it, quick results or not. I didn't enjoy the traditional "Look at my hands, plug my nose crap every 30 minutes or so. I read Niyas (I think that's the name) MILD tutorial. She says that MILD will eventually work well, no matter what. I like to hear that, I don't mind waiting for results, but my problem is my visualizing skills.... Suck. And that's what MILD really works off of. I'll post some info about my dreamlife and I would appreciate if someone could tell me a technique that might suite me well.

-current recall is 1-2 dreams a night. Not complete beginning to end, but the main plot of it and major stuff.
-95% of my dreams are either in a weird place I rarely ever go, or have never even been to, also they all are strange situations that would never happen. Idk if that might help with a technique or not.
-I have a pretty set in stone sleep schedule. 10:30-6:30. I don't mind getting up in the night for whatever reason.
-I don't mind having to wait for results if it will pay off.

TL-DR - need help choosing a technique to stick to.

I'm pretty anxious to seriously get into LDing, my long term goal is around 3-4 a week, maybe more on weekends with WBTB.

      Any help is greatly appreciated

All technique's take practice... keep dream journaling... if you don't get any results with a technique after a month, try a different one. My favorite ones are WILD (Mzzk has a phenomenal tutorial) and FILD/DEILD (here).
      I've had success with both.
Report back, i'm interested in your progress !

You can do MILD and another technique at a same time.

Read a lot about LDing - posts, DJs, other websites, books, get yourself excited about it.

Talk to your subconcience, tell it that you enjoy dreaming and LDing. Believe it or not, it listens to us and it will try to make you happy.

Make a plan, what you gonna do when lucid. Write it down, daydream about it. Most important thing - believe in yourself, you have to KNOW, that you can do it. Convince yourself, that you doing everything right, the only course of action now is to have a lucid.
