Erii, I don't lose sleep but you know, getting up and my body generally disagree
With DEILD, you just need to stay still and have your eyes closed, no getting up.

It's like a "Oh I'm awake but I won't open my eyes and remain still" thought and bam you go back to the dream state. (Once you get it right)

It's just lying down with my eyes closed and I'm pretty terrible at that too, my first reaction upon waking up is normally to sit up and go "whuu? "
Just a repost if you didn't see the original question, does the induction technique affect the quality, mood, aesthetic or content of a dream?

Most of the time it won't have any relation to your induction method, unless it's a WILD. However, each dream has a dream plot and your emotions will probably draw from that. As for the quality- people have reported their WILDs to be more stable than their DILDS, but i'm sure there are people that have more stable DILDs aswell. It depends on the individual, i suppose.

Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!

Well he's right in doing so. I highly recommend it because I find that dreams induced through WILDs tend to be more vivid or stable. Having said that, good mental discipline is required to be able to do WILDs effectively.

Would a dream attained through MILD/DILD/DEILD generally not be as vivid or stable as a dream brought about by WILD regardless of how much stabilisation occurs?

Not necessarily. WILD is nice and stable because you are transitioning from wakeful state to dream state, so your dream world is more profound, whereas dreams induced by DILDs are more random in nature. (But that's just me)

      Tip:
Actively involving your mind in a specific visualization can be even more effective because it provides the mind with ready-made scenery for your dream. As you lie in bed, visualize yourself walking along a path in the location of your choice. It may be a path in a lush forest, a path down a spiral staircase, a long corridor within a large mansion, or any other path that allows you to explore your surroundings as you move deeper and deeper into the setting you have created within your mind. Maintain your conscious awareness as you observe the details of your environment, even as you fall asleep. Repeat the "I am dreaming" affirmation as you explore the scene within your visualization, and eventually that visualization may transition into a dream.

the felling was incridiball, but i get too exited and tried to stablize but it failed, but it's ok
because lucid dreaming is a long term hooby, and with time i'll get better.
as for how did it work,it's just practise,i wasn't bored of doing RCs all day long, and i first didn't even wanted to do mild or wbtb, but i did and look's how rewarding it was

      hope it helps

      I voted WILD.
I'd do WBTB, but I'm usually too lazy to get up XD
I also don't really DEILD too well, so it takes a considerate amount of time between waking up and inducing a lucid.

Also, my WILDs sort of happen by themselves, I just happen to be conscious when I'm going into SP so I just tag along for the ride and enjoy the lucid dream it creates XD
