Easy to enter the dream, but without SP?

It's really quite easy for me to enter a dream and become 100% immersed. I lay still for about 30-45 minutes, and pretty soon my body starts pulsing with numbness and eventually starts being sluggish about sending my mind input. At this point I can visualize whatever I want and perceive it really vividly. I do have a problem though.

Time after time, I get into this state, become 100% immersed(passively) in whatever dream my mind concocts, and then wake up as soon as I try to move my dream body because I move IRL. I'm not even really aware of my real life body. It just jolts into my consciousness and floods my senses with real(RC confirmed) life.

I'm so sure this is a lack of SP because this exact thing has happened to me before I started lucid dreaming. I would suddenly wake up from what I didn't even know was a dream because my real body would act out the events. Now this doesn't happen regularly. I don't have chronic SP problems.

I'm just wondering if any of you have similar experiences or difficulties. I'm also of course wondering how I can achieve SP before I enter the dream, and interested in any advice anyone has.

try meditating before bed or doing muscle relaxing techniques. it'll make that problem less likely.

Sounds like you are crossing that thin line between Theta and Delta brainwave states and entering non-REM dreaming lucid. This has happened to me on many occasions and results in incredibly detailed LDs. They are traditionally short, however, but quite fun!

I might be wrong but it looks like you LD before sleep. Try to WBTB technique after 4-5 hours of sleep. Optionally with short awaking time. I guess I have worse skills than you ( never managed to LD before sleep - too difficult ) but with WBTB sometimes works for me - I get to LD phase pretty quickly without SP.
