      Jumping Off Buildings is Fun!

I jumped off a very high building I'll tell you it's a rush falling down 100 stories. Once I jumped off and prior to hitting the ground I awoke. After awaking from this "dream suicide" I went back to sleep and repeatedly jumped off another building. After a few times your mind will adjust to the fact that you are in a dream and you will obtain lucidity just like that!

Ehh, I couldn't do that. I mean, I get scared when I have dreams that involve death.

You name it, I"m afraid of it.

Unless of course, its like a Video game type of thing, like Fire Emblem or something. In which case I could defend myself, or not get hit....I dunno.

But it sounds like it would be a rush.

      Try hitting the ground.

I once met with quite a famous Guru in my dreams (famous if you know all about Gurus). We were at a cocktail party up in a high rise building and he took me by the arm and lead me out the window. I thought it was a kind of flying lesson or flying demonstration he wanted and I would have given him one, but he held fast and had us pointed toward the ground and allowed for no evasive maneuvers.

Well, we didn't really 'hit', but flew straight into the ground. I could see the different layers of stratum go by and finally the Old Guru allowed for a 'pull out' and we came out from under the ground, and finally he allowed for a few aerobatics.

This may have been the turning point of my Fun Loving days of dream flying. The Old Guru allowed me to fly about for the pure aesthetics of it, but when I looked to him for approval, I only received the bemused look of an old man looking at a young man who still insists upon playing the games young men play. Without him saying anything, I knew it was time for me to grow up.

Oh yeah.. one of my favorite pastimes is jumping over houses. I remember I was jumping back and forth over my house (its 2 floors) just to see how many times I could do it... I think I managed 10 or 11 times before I woke up.. I had a whole jealous audience in that dream too.. they wanted in, but didn't have the ability.

hmm.. reminds me of a leuprechan i had in some dreams when i was young. Used to chill with him in this old tree we had in the front yard. Interesting I remembered that... I should dig deeper and see if I can recall the conversations. He did have a part in teaching me howto float. The ability to walk through walls, manipulate objects, and fly I all learned by myself.

What would happen if one were eating hot soup with a potential spoon while sitting on a non-existent fence?

Wow, strange of you to bring this up.

When I was about 9-10 years old I had a dream that I fell off the CN tower. In truth it was the Eiffel tower, but I was 10 so I though it was the CN. I fell, and it felt so freaky! I remember myself thinking "This is it.... I'm going to die" Right as I hit the ground I woke up as I rolled of my bed and slammed into the floor. I was so stunned, and covered with cold sweat. I just lay there stiff as a board, and when I finally though that I wasn't falling off a building I laughted and laughed (a hysterical laugh) because I wasn't dead.

Oh, by the way, is it possibly do die from a heart attack for having a scary dream?

what compelled you to jump off another building again if you didn't know you were dreaming? I mean...i wouldn't do it it unless i was lucid dreaming >_>

I'll have to try that next time! I'd be afraid of waking up and losing it though. Because the moment before I hit the ground i bet there'd be great anticiptation and an increase in emotion, possibly waking me up. Any way around this?

      low level lucidity?

everyone here probably knows about low level lucidity right? ok. its weird, i have a limited amount of ld ablilites in regular dreams, mostly the ability to make my own choices to what i want to do even though i think its real life. i've jumped off buildings in regular dreams, and my dream changes to another part of the dream as soon as i'm about to hit the ground. lol but it is rather fun, i think i'll start to do that in lucid dreams. i know that rush you are talking about lol.

I ones had this dream that I was chased by cops, ran from them acctually. I was running on this highway type-of bridge with copcars both on the lane under the bridge and on the brigde, acctually every lane. So I figured the only way to get clear of the cops was to jump from the bridge. But I couldn't cause I would die if I would, right. Then all of a sudden the dream turned to GTA (the first GTA), I got the third person view from the heaven and all. So I jumped right of the bridge and next thing I know I was having a pretty chilly Sleep Paralyze.

      Yeah, anyway...

      I know wat u mean!!

I love jumping off buildings. Its not scary at all because you know its a dream! when i do it i hit the ground and im fine. Time goes to slow motion as i hiot the ground. Its like sum phat special effects in a movie. lol Sometimes I see myself do it in 3rd person (but thats only off houses not huge buildings). I like create my dream to be exactly like 'The Matrix' and i am Neo and i can hav anything i want when i want it. This works best when you watch a Matrix movie and really get into the movie then fall asleep a short time later. Fun for the while family!!
If we spend on average 22 years of our life asleep or dreaming, we arguably live two lives...Our awake life and our dream life.
