      I never recall my dreams by laying still in bed. I remember them because I experienced them more aware, which it seems like you are too.
      This is good! This is the kind of recall you want to have,, because you will have alot of spontanious lucid dreams, as you already have mentioned.
      And the quality of your lucid dreams will also increase

      But I can't figure out any other advantage than more awareness of your dreams in general, but just that alone is not so bad either
      The only advice I can give you, is that you recall as much dreams as you can so your awareness increase even more, until lucid dreaming becomes as easy as your recall is now!
