Live "Another Life" In Lucid Dreams

I had this thought the other day and I was wondering if it's possible or if anyone has done this. Is it possible to live a second life in your dreams. What I mean by this is like if I wanted to live in something like WoW and level up and such would it be possible to resume your "Life" from where you left off?

      Another Example:

I am living in the middle ages and I go off on an adventure. Along the way I come across some trials and tribulations... blah blah blah... You know, all the story stuff. Eventually I become the king as the result of some illegitimate cousin's last will and testament and then I wake up.

Is it possible to continue from here or has anyone here done this before? (Continued their dream I mean)

I saw this on another post somewhere, but i forgot where, it was a while ago too.
It was established that i probably would be possible, you just may need to LD every day so you can change the scene back to it was in your last dream.
If you can do that, its probably possible. Ive never done it though, cause im in a dry spell lol
But on a last note you have to be careful of escapism (i think thats spelled right) when you get so involved in your second dream life that your normal life no longer becomes important.
      Anyway though, good luck!

Yes, it is possible, so long as you can get lucid, you can always try to get back to the same scenario or plot or whatever.
I has been doing this myself, dreams on DW are part of my second life, dreams outside of it are, well, not part of it lol
Creating a new persistent realm, claiming it and breaking the last seal I made back in the beggining of my journey are my goals right now

I would love to do this. I love my epic adventure dreams and learning how to pick one back up where I left off would be a great way to spend my sleep time.
