Question Still considered a lucid if you wake right up?

I've had several dreams where I realize I'm dreaming, but I get exited and wake up. I've yet to really be able to control the dream and make what I want appear or anything. Or even stay in the dream for more than a minute or two once I realize I am dreaming. Do these attempts count as lucids since I was aware I was dreaming in the dreams, or do I have to have a certain amount of time in dream to control stuff before it really qualifies as a lucid?

As soon as you realize you are dreaming, it becomes a lucid dream. So, yeah, those would cont as Lucids . Don't be disappointed, waking up right away after becoming lucid is common for people beginning. With more practice you will start to have longer Lucids!
