some say it's easier if you do it on your back but it's possible to do it on your side.
I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.

It should be easier on your back. But if you are not used to sleep on your back, or it's uncomfortable for you, than it's easier on your side, or whichever position is your usual. I never sleep on my back, so all my WILDs were on my side.

Tibetan book of dreaming says, that men should sleep on their right side, and women on their left. It has something to do with energy flow. I personally had lucids and OBEs on both sides.

Yes, it's possible. For me, WILDing on my side isn't any harder than on my back. I always start with lying on my back. Sometimes I roll over to my side before entering sleep paralysis, and other times I don't. So, sleep however you want!

l normally sleep on my side. l find it too uncomfortable on my back. l've had plenty of LD's and OBE's over the years so l doubt it makes much diffrence.

This. I usually don't sleep on my back

Don't pay too much attention to exact positions or exact thought patterns when trying to wild. You just need to be comfortable enough to fall asleep and aware enough to know when it happens. It's a very fine balance and will be different for everyone.
