Post Suffering from Insomnia, I miss having dreams...

Hello everyone! I want to insert a wavey smiley here but didn't see any. I'm not sure which forum this goes to but if you are a mod please feel free to move to the appropriate section.

Long story short. I've been suffering from insomnia since 2005. Tried a cocktail of Benzos, Non-Benzos (Z drugs), Barbiturates, Pain Killers, Alcohol, Antihistamines, Anti-Depressants with Sedative Qualities to get to sleep. Yes its this bad. Without medication I probably average 2-3 hours a night if I'm lucky, with meds around 5 hours a night.

Now whats causing my insomnia? The medications that I am on. Its something that I cannot change and have to learn to adapt with the neurolgoical side effects it gives me for the rest of my life. Yea I know it sucks but I'm not complaining (much), I rather be alive then burried 6 six feet under.

Now I want to try and get into the magically realm of Lucid Dreaming. Something I haven't tried. I know the key ingredient to achieve this is called "Galantamine".

Now is this the Galantamine found in the Alzheimer medication or something in the OTC product called "GalantaMind" by Life Enhancement?

What should I dose the GalantaMind or Galantamine, Choline, b6, b5 for people suffering from insomnia?

I feel ya' ! It's hard to have a lucid dream when you can't fall asleep. Been there, done that. Good luck to you.
