I personally like WBTB for WILD. |

I guess you can say I'm fairly new to lucid dreaming. Although I've known about it and astral projection for a few years now, for the past month I've been trying to finally achieve a lucid dream. I've had one, just one, spontaneously sometime in July. I hope to be able to lucid dream and eventually astral project, but I've been having problems . I often do reality checks, asking myself if I'm dreaming and answering the question multiple times throughout the day. I also keep a dream journal and meditate. It's been a month since I've started and I've gotten nowhere in becoming aware in my dreams. I know this isn't something that's learned easy and it takes some people months to achieve, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what techniques you find affective. I think I should change my approach and try a different technique. Please help me out (: |

If you want to really get more awareness in your dream, you should become more aware in waking life. Have a read of the All Day Awareness technique, that might help you out summore! |

I prefer MILD over every other technique. I especially hate WILD and find it challenging. I use a MILD technique where I daydream of having a lucid dream before I go to bed. It boosts my awareness and is sort of like dreaming practice. As with just about every other technique, it works amazingly well with WBTB. I like this technique because I can just lazily daydream day and night and become lucid. |
