      Attempting mid-sleep wbtb tonight

So, Im going to attempt to wake up in the middle of my sleepy time and post on this thread and maybe ill even have a dream to recall...If not, I am going to keep trying everyday until i do. Waking is this huge obstacle and I aim to overcome that. Thanxs for listening!

Yeah, WBTB can be a good way to remember, if you are focusing on recall, learning to naturally wake up after every dream is probably a better idea.
      Good luck

You could pair it with MILD, and aim it towards remembering your dreams. It should really help.

yeah, for a while ive been trying to develop the discipline just to wake up at night and now im at the point where i need to get more specific with my awareness like the MILD and waking up after my dreams. Ive been having this issue with relaxing before sleeping too so pre-sleep is another area where i need work.

So i did wake up last night but i forgot to write some stuff down on here before going back to sleep. I almost gained lucidity though and had some very interesting dreams. I think maybe the huge amount of stress ive been under recently might have a lot to do with not gaining lucidity and my lack of recall. Just slept for 15 hrs and i usually only do that when im fatigued/stressed.
anyways, thanx for your suggestions guys, ive been using MILD before sleep and im working on reality checks as well. I think im going to forgo alarms to split my sleep cycles like ive been doing because it doesnt seem to help me with recall or wbtb. I can wake up naturally much easier.
      heres to many more lucids!

When you do WBTB, I find it works best to stay up for an hour to ninety minutes or so. It ends up waking you up better, and also that way you end up knocking off an entire sleep cycle, which causes your REM to be more compressed later on.
