Trying once again to have my first ever WILD. I'm gonna go to bed at 10:30, get up at 3:30, stay up for 15 minutes, and then attempt my WILD. The hardest part for me is to not think about WILDing and not being distracted by whatever is happening. My mind wanders a bit too easily sometimes. |

Good luck. I tried last night and failed |

Well, I failed again, but this was the best I've done so far. I experienced two strange sensations. The first one was where I felt as if everything started spinning around quickly, but then that stopped. Then later I felt as if I had sunk through my bed and begun to fall, but that ended too, and I did not slip into a dream. I probably got too excited about both of these. My dog's snoring didn't do much to help either, I really need to buy some earplugs. |

What should I do the next time I feel like I'm spinning/falling? Should I ignore them completely, or should I try to envision a dream landscape? |

When you feel abstract sensations, tie them to a real scenario. The most popular (and highly effective) one is to imagine yourself rolling out of bed. You know that you are in bed at the moment, so your mind would accept this logically as your first dream scene. Believing that the sensations are "rolling" will help, too. |

Im right there with ya buddy. |
|
lol i'm not going to bother going into a WILD until I get used to the basics. keep trying and good luck |
|
Good luck, I tried the night before last. I found myself waking up on my stomach after trying to WILD on my back but I just decided I would try a reality check and I found out I was in my dream with my eyes closed in bed. I am going to make sure for now on if it feels like I fell asleep I will do a reality check to avoid losing out on a lucid dream from any False Awakenings. |
