Next time it's afternoon and your very very tired, lay in bed in the most comfortable position you can get in. Relax and slowly count in your head. 1. I will have a dream. 2. I will have a dream. 3. I will have a dream, etc. if you loose count that's a good sign! Fall asleep when you are ready and voila. You're in a lucid dream. *This only works in the afternoon or if you wake up In the middle of the night between 2-3 AM because you immediacy go into REM sleep.* Happy dreaming!! |

Firstly,Do the usual stuff(Dream Journal, Reality Checks when you remember and when you encounter dream signs). |
|
First and foremost, improving your dream recall is a must, start a dream journal if you haven't, just keep some paper or notebook by your bed. Before going to sleep remind yourself of waking up after every dream and remembering them, and write down all the important stuff. Improving Dream Recall not only allows you recall more dreams (duh) but it also improves your awareness in dreams, by writing your dreams you'll start to think stuff, realizing conections between dreams or dream signs, all which will allow you to improve your chances of DILDs. |

Eh... how about reading something from DreamViews.com? |
|
Go to the homepage of dreamviews, not the forum. There is a left hand side vertical menu. In there you will find all the basic info you need. Then you can start browsing the forum for detailed information. |
|
Please click on the links below, more techniques under investigation to come soon...
No offense intended, but if it's your exam season, you should probably wait till after :/ |

Read. Research. Practice. Find out what works for you. I use visualization during sleep onset. This works for me. |

WBTB is a very helpful method but I had to stop doing that during the work week. When my WBTB alarm went off I would turn it off AND my morning alarm for work... |

Here is what you do. You work on your awareness. I have had lucid dreams but none of them triggered by doing a reality check, because I've never done a reality check in a dream that I can remember. So work on your awareness all thorough out the day. |
