      Smile Would this work? [HELP]

Hey everyone, i was wondering when i set my alarm for WBTB or setting my alarm anyway when it goes off you know you can hear it in your dream sometimes? What if i was to set the alarm as "Do a reality check or you are dreaming" do you think this would work and if so does anyone know any mp3's that could do this?

      Thank you very much

I don't know to be honest. But when the alarm goes off, won't you just wake up?

I can see you sleep through your bedroom window. You're killing yourself with lucid dreaming.

But i can usually hear the alarm in my dream for around 15 seconds before i wake up so if i hear it i could realise im dreaming and not wake up.

      Thanks for the post

Probably wouldn't work, if you don't have awareness you'll just do a rc and carry on with the dream as normal. Unless it makes you lucid right when you hear it, then yes

Sorry guys but both your posts are wrong. What you are attempting is called EILD (Externally Induced Lucid Dream) and it definetely works, its what the novadreamer is based on The NovaDreamer Lucid Dream Induction Device . I used to have an app on my Iphone which monitered my sleep and would play a recorded sample when it detected I was dreaming like "Do an RC". Off course it shouldn't be too loud too wake you up.
here's a tutorial on it EILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

There are a handful of iPhone/iPod apps that do this type of thing (as stated by dutchraptor). I've tried a few, but I don't want to disturb my wife, so I tried to use headphones. Unfortunately I tend to rip them out during the night. In theory they could definitely work, but you would need to find the right volume so it doesn't wake you up, but loud enough to be incorporated into your dream. Much easier to do with light rather than sound, like what the NovaDreamer does.

I forgot to add, what you should try do is play the recorded saaple a few times throughout the day and do an rc whenever you hear it, that way your brain will link doing an RC to the sound .
