      Talking Sleep paralasys and timing

      should i try to fall asleep when i reach SP? or should i stay awake longer? so many questions if someone could help me or redirect me i would be very grateful.

      Keep your consciousnesses, wait out the sp then you'll plop right down into your REM cycle/dream.

      As far as more questions, feel free to make a big ol' list. I'm fairly well read on this stuff and I'll try to help out as much as possible, if there's anything I don't get- others will pick up on it.

      Once you reach SP you have already fallen asleep. That's what SP is - falling asleep while still being aware. When you reach SP all you need to do is shift your focus onto whatever dream is forming. If you don't feel like a dream is forming don't worry, it is, they aren't always apparent.
