      Cild

      Questions:

      1. How do I do the Counting technique

      2. Do I have to do the wbtb before or can I just go to sleep when and do the CILD

      1: Counting
Rated green. This technique has been successful with a large amount of people, in scientific research, and/or is part of a commercial book about lucid dreaming.

Another technique is to count up to 100 in your head, optionally adding (for example) an “I'm dreaming” between each number. Alternatively, you can imagine stepping down stairs and reading each floor number, from 100 to 0. Try to make this image as vivid as possible — include not only what you see, but also what you hear, feel (touch the banister), and smell. At some point this image should continue into a dream or you will begin to get sleep paralysis as described above. It is easy to lose count, especially with counting up to 100 with an 'I'm dreaming' with each number. But stay focused: you are not going to sleep; your body is, and you must concentrate fully.

      (got this from wikipedia)

2: I don't really understand this one completely, but wbtb u should get around 5-6 hours prior sleep first. This depends from person to person though. And i have never heard of CILD, this is probably why i don't understand the second question. But maybe somebody else can help u with this one.

      Or did u mean wild?

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

It's best to have failure happen early in life. It wakes up the Phoenix bird in you so you rise from the ashes.

I tried searching for CILD and couldn't find any information.

Counting is a common technique to achieve a WILD. It's designed to maintain awareness as you enter the dream state. We have a WILD Tutorial in our WIKI.

WBTB is a method designed to increase the chances of a lucid dream. You typically attempt this after 4 to 6 hours of sleep. We have a WBTB tutorial in our WIKI also.

I understand the acronym for CILD. I understand what it implies.

I believe it's a variant of the WILD technique. The methodology will work the same.

Go with what Ekyu posted above and share your results after a few days.
