Cool I want YOUR lucid dreaming timeline.

      Hey guys,

I'm getting into lucid dreaming and I just wanted to compare my progress with everyone else's to see where I'm at. It would be great if you could write a few sentences on the frequency of your lucid dreams between when you first started and now. For example: "It took me about 4 weeks to have my first LD. Then, over the next month, I had about one a week. Then it progressed to 2....etc". It would also be helpful if you could post the method by which you have attained most of your lucid dreams. This will be helpful not only to me, but to any beginner who reads this post, as they can gauge their progress.

      Thanks a lot people.

Best not to rely on others results as it could take you way longer and you'll just get discouraged

The progress, the frequency, quality, and everything else is completely different for everybody. Same with ease and usefullness of any method, technique, RC, mantra and everything else.

I think everyone else is right. Comparing yourself to others is really not helpful. Some people have a lucid their first night of trying, then have months without another lucid. I would gladly 'lag behind' the average/norm if I knew I was going to keep progressing with effort. It takes a while just to figure out what practice(s) works best for you, even to start with.

That said, if it is of interest, my experience has been as follows.

      Lucid dream nights:
      Night 22
      Night 37
      Night 39
      Night 44
      Night 46
      Night 51

I am now on night 81, which certainly proves these things are not always linear, in terms of progression.

Learning to lucid dream since 2012.
LUCID DREAM FREQUENCY: ~10% of nights

haha okay well RedNaxela, your post helps me. Cuz I've had them in a non-linear progression, and at this point its been a while.

Yeah this would probably discourage you or anyone from trying when seeing others results (Also I'm one of the rare 1st Day Lucid Dreamers )
