      Almost Experienced a DEILD?

So i attempted a WILD last night and its really hard, so i failed hard and fell asleep. I woke up later and attempted a DEILD. I remember my dream exactly where it took off. Some hispanic male stole something out of my house and was running away. I went to chase after him in my neighborhood. He was gone and my dream ended. I woke up, and i was like, time to deild. So i remembered the dream and since it was my neighborhood, I could really visualize it perfectly. All of a sudden i felt an intense shaking feeling but its hard to explain because it felt like it happened when i was alseep but i was conscious (sleep paralysis?) I started to hear what sounded like a rocket ship just leaving earth. And it startled the hell out of me and i kept thinking stay calm, stay calm, but i was worried because i never experienced this before and i didnt know what to expect. It also felt like my field of view was being shaken even though it was pitch black. I woke up (failed DEILD) and just said to myself "that was crazy" and it kind of felt like a dream but i could of sworn it happened.

I also see how most guides say you can just wake up and wait to be in a dream but i have waken up motionless/eyes closed multiple times and this is the first time i ever experienced something like this

Yeah this has happened to me before! But instead of a rocket ship, I could have sworn it was a helicopter outside my window! I think it's SP and HH, soooo close to entering a lucid dream! But I failed also, at least think of it as good practice, youre getting closer! Ive been told to wait it out calmly, and visualise a dream forming. Then RC when it stops.

      Ooh, their breath is warm
      And they smell like sleep
And they say they take me home
      Like poppies heavy with seed
They take me deeper and deeper

The 'shaking' or vibrations were the beginnings of sleep paralysis. The rocket ship sound was a hypnagogic sound. Once you have experienced this a few times you will be more accustomed to the sensations. You are on the right track!

it was weird because when i failed to get into a lucid because i think i was a bit scared and resisted a bit, it was like my mind wanted to me to forget it happened. Is sleep paralysis similar to dreaming in the fact that you cant really remember it that well without good recall?
