Thread: Was this a successful lucid dream

Well i have recently given up on lucid dreams after 1 month with no luck but just recently i have had some kind of sleep paralysis where i could hear this female voice for abit and ringing in my ear much like tinnitus but much louder it would come and go but after awhile i started seeing coloured numbers and soon i saw 2 pictures one was kinda like a desert but i cant really remember what the other one was, there was a male voice kinda like guiding me through and told me what to do to enter the picture of the desert soon after i was falling in the sky but the guy was there he showed me how to create things but then i told him i wanted to skip trying to create things because i wanted to be on ground or atleast change the scene i tried to change the scene but i suddently woke up

The sounds and images you saw were HH (hypnogogic hallucinations) that you get as falling asleep. The picture of a desert was possible a dreamlet - a dream starting to form.

But from there, I can't tell if you entered the dream, or you were still manipulating the dreamlet. It sounds like it would have been a WILD. Do you think you acctually entered the dream? Did you get emotional after you entered the dream?

Sometimes I fly over the dreamscape but fail to land and enter the dream.

If you didn't enter, you were extremely close, practically on the doorstep. So congrats to that.
