      Questions from a beginner?

I have had 4 lucid dreams. 1, which was this last night, which was my first vivid one that I had control of.

I have a question. Is it possible to train yourself to have a lucid dream EVERY night? How long does this take? Considering they are so amazing, I want one every night

      Thanks!

Anything is possible... and I would LD every night if I could. But I can't. I have heard from some people that they have multiple LD's every week but no one I have ever known has told me in earnest that they had a lucid dream every night. If you ever figure out a way let us know!

      Yeah, what faceonmars said.

If you want to lucid dream every single night, you would have to be able to schedule everything you do in your life so that there's just the right amount of work that makes you tired, but not too much where you can't do a WBTB in the middle of the night to possibly increase your chances to induce a lucid dream.

Then you have to take into consideration on how you plan your diet, what types of supplements you take, whether or not you take drugs or alcohol.

And don't forget the undying devotion to continue seeking the reason why you lucid dream, which would be to having experiences conforming to what you consider will benefit you. Then you have to be able to balance between the temptation of escapism with lucid dreaming, and still have a tangible grasp with these reality, or else you might end up trying too much and have more lucid dreams.

Then you have to continue finding goals to accomplish in your lucid dreams to prevent the likelihood that you won't get bored with your lucid dreams, and take for granted of your ability to presumably lucid dream every night.

Oh and for maximum efficiency, establish a medium where you can obtain funding to sustain yourself with the necessities of life (food, water, and shelter). That way, you can focus more in engaging into the mentality to have a lucid dream every night.

Oh and, your subconscious, you might want to build a closer relationship with it where you can feel at home instead of being so separated from it. And you have to be able to see the good and bad in epic dreams, night dreams, precognitive dreams, and all sorts.

Having a continuing desire to improve your life, while not being in denial of the situations and challenges you're going to be burdened with.

Yeah.............there's a lot of things you'd have to manage. You would have to understand this reality to the extent where you can seek joy in everything, and seeing lucid dreaming as a supplement in augmenting that ever-growing love for yourself, the people you interact with, and the universe.

      faceonmars and namone like this.

Hukif has about 4 a night I believe. Someone I know can WILD upon going to bed every nigh. My teacher normally has 6 nights a week with LDs, and one without. I have heard of some people that are naturally always lucid, kind of Divergent
Divergent (Book 1): Veronica Roth: 9780062024039: Amazon.com: Books

My aim is for every night as well. But if this is your goal you will have to be very very diligent, read as much as you can about it and find what makes YOU lucid. When you find that you should be able to figure it out. Try not to find a process, but a specific thing that will help you do it. I have found a few processes that make me LD almost every time, but they are extremely long and I cannot do them every day, so I am looking for something shorter. Hopefully something I can just do in bed or right before I go to bed.

Wow, thanks for the info guys!

In regard to BrandonBoss, last night I had a lucid dream. I had talked to some of my friends about them before bed. Anyway, the way I became lucid is one of my first dreams of the night was I was going into a cryostasis sleep machine, that, when I was in it, would make me have lucid dreams. So, I had a dream, that launched me into a lucid dream...pretty trippy; but hey, I'll take it. Perhaps I need to focus on things like that to get me to be lucid. Another thing I need to work on is vivdness; but, with 4 lucids under my belt, I look forward to having more!

Yes. As of now I have a 'dream journal' as a document on my computer. Do you recommend to have it as a book? Or is a comupter fine?

I keep all my dream journal entries on the computer, too lazy to use a book, and I would've have invested in a lot of books just to get all content down anyway.

I think a computer is fine if the glare from it doesn't affect you during the night. There's also a dream journal system made by Banhurt, but I think the download link might be outdated.

      Alright, thanks!

I was just reading this: http://www.dreamviews.com/f49/naiyas...secrets-61802/

Very interesting and helpful! I hope to have a DILD tonight, and really hoping for a WILD if I decide to try one (I think I may.) This article really helped me understand what needed to be done. Anyway, thank you all for your help!

Of course! I can lucid dreaming every night pretty much!

It really depends on the person and how much effort they put in. It took me a long time to get to the point where I am today. Just keep at it and you will get better as time goes on. I use the WILD technique which allows me to become lucid almost anytime I want to. A lot of people have trouble WILDing, though. Choose a technique that fits you

Best of luck!!! If you have questions, just ask.
