Hi
Im having some questions im having problems finding solutions to, i would be thankful for any help since im kind of new to lucid dreaming

Im trying to learn how to wild but I never manage to enter sleep paralysis. The problem is my breathing, after 10-20 minutes i feel a surge going through my body and it feels as if my head is moving away from my body, i guess this is a prelude to getting paralysed. As my body gets further away it becomes harder to breathe. I have tried to ignore this and let my body take over but then i feel as im suffocating and start to grasp for air, which ofcourse wakes me up! I have also tried breathing harder but this leads to me taking huge breathes which also wakes me up! Very annoying.

my questions are:
1. is this normal? do any of you have some tricks to get past it?
2. what is supposed to happen with your breath when your in paralysis? am i sopposed to breathe consiously or does the body take over so im not aware im breathing?
3. is it a complete waste of time to wild directly when goin to bed? i dont really have time to wake up early, its not as important to have long lucid dreams at the moment, i just want to learn how to for the future

thanks for any help!
