      Argh... frustrating!

I was doing so well.. having a lucid dream every couple of nights since I started trying a couple of months ago. Now it's been two weeks without one and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I do my reality checks throughout the day and my dream recall/dream journal is pretty good (I can remember at least 1 or 2 dreams every night).. But nothing. I think maybe I'm trying to hard...?? Or maybe I'm not trying the right things..? Can anyone suggest anything that might get me back on track?

Yeah, sometimes you just hit dry spots. Just ignore them and keep up confidence in yourself. You have to be confident that you will LD tonight!

Good luck to you. I had a couple weeks last month that the same thing happened to me. I do not wish that on anyone. LDing is too awesome to take a break.

During a dry spell, to keep up my motivation, I just try to enjoy my non-lucids. You could be trying to hard, focusing too much on lucidity and dismissing non-lucids as "failures." This is not a helpful focus. Any dream can become an LD, so I try my best to keep my recall strong and have as many memorable dreams as possible. Eventually, the LDs will come.

Yeah, some non LDs are dinner than LDs. For instance, last night I had a 2 minute LD where I just flew around, it was fun, but not as fun as the zombie apocalypse dream I had before this (I lost and got bit haha), or running from the mob after that on a four wheeler (got away on that one )

You know, I think just posting the fact that I was struggling might have even done the trick. Last night I had 2LDs.. .1 of which only lasted for a minute because I was just so excited at having it, and the other that turned out to be my target dream, pretty much playing out just as I wanted it too.

      Thanks for all your support!
