Could you link any good hypnosis methods/basics that I should know about? If this is true, I cannot thank you enough.
Check out "A Practical Guide to Self-Hypnosis " by Melvin Powers (pdf version) . It's just one of many books on hypnosis overall, and I've been using it for weeks now, and even though I don't have as much time to focus on it, it definitely works. It works for me because it makes me see that it's about getting into a suggestible state that gets results.
Just a simple search engine search and you're on your way to knowing the basics and more. It's concise in my opinion, and shows the importance of visualization and feedback responses to your hypnotic statements that help you succeed in endeavors that involve mental perseverance (lucid dreamings, studying more, etc.)
I can't link it, since I'm worried I would probably be violating rules (even if it is free really). I think it's worth the read, and it can clear a lot of misconceptions on hypnosis as well.
Good luck!
