      not sure what it is?

hey guys just need to get this off my chest. my first lucid dream only lasted like ten seconds, it was very bright and unstable but i had one non the less and i had this by having one of those 5 more minutes moments . after this one every lucid dream iv'e had since then, long or short has started the same way and i will try and explain it now: sometime in the night i will just kind of wake up but not literally, usually i will just be in absolute pitch black (except once when i was seeing words off of pages of a book and hearing voices) and will just roll over and i will start falling, the first time this happened i was terrified, i opened my eyes and could see my room above me, but so was the sky like my floor had just vanished and i woke up. since then ive been doing this to start my lucids, it NEVER fails. so i was just wondering what is happening when i do this? the rolling over is a habit of mine, i do it every time i wake up and i think im doing it in false awakenings? i dont know, i think the only reason this never happened before was because of poor dream recall. has anything like this happened to anyone else here? and do you know whats happening? any input and opinions is appreciated thank you

I do get the falling feeling often, and I initiate it often myself, because I just just love the feeling. I don't start it by rolling our, but by tilting and pushing my head backwards or forwards (not my real head, I just pretend to push it). When time is right, this pretend motion gets me the falling feeling and I end up in LD.

Sometimes I don't push my head down, but move my whole body either sideways like in the hammock, (again, just by thought, not by muscles), or lengthwise, from feet to head. Last time this was so strong, that my subtle body was sliding out of my sleeping body by a foot at my feet and at my head.

This is one of the possible methods of entry during WILD and DEILD. Sensations, HH and types of entry into WILD.

False awakening or out of body experiences possibly also.

This seems like the case of false awakening.
