      Unhappy Realizing your lucid?

So i have had some very close calls lately with realizing weather or not im lucid, the first example was i belive i became lucid and i changed the color of the grass and i kissed someone and then i wasnt controlling lucid anymore, then there are 2 other dreams i remeber quite clearly, then the other night i had a dream and near the end of it i was texting someone and told them i was dreaming and i was lucid becuase i remeber them really well. Was i lucid? How do i realize i am dreaming so i can stabalize? This is frustrating me!!!

I have had dreams similar to yours where I woke up and could remember that I was lucid. I felt the sudden rush of energy after realizing I was lucid. But I doubted that it was actually lucid because I didn't do any cool stuff in my dream. If you realized you were dreaming inside your dream then you were lucid.
You could try adding a mantra before you go to sleep. Something like: Tonight when I dream I will realize I am dreaming. Here is a guide on mantra induced lucid dreaming (MILD).

Being lucid and being actually able to remember waking life or control dream are completely separate factors. Being lucid is when you are aware that you are dreaming, and that's that, if you were aware even for a split second, it's an lucid dream. Though the key is realization itself, if you just said that you are dreaming but didn't actually realized it, then you weren't lucid. I hope that helps you to figure out which one was lucid and which not, but even if you were non-lucid but were close, it's still a step forward so don't be discouraged.
If you have problem remembering stuff from waking life then you could try writing/typing it somewhere right before going to sleep and/or using that as mantra, worked for me when i had that problem.
      Good luck!
