Unhappy Realizing I'm Dreaming But Never Being Lucid

      Hello!

Does anyone know why I have dreams where I realize it's a dream, I'm fully aware of the fact, and yet I do nothing about it. EXAMPLE!

I was hiding under a bridge from some government people trying to kill me. I told myself, "Don't panic, it's just a dream. They can't hurt you." NO LUCIDITY.

      Another:

I was at a gas station pumping gas. I realized I had no money, but shrugged it off, saying, "Eh, it's a dream, I don't even need money." NOTHING.

      Thanks in advance,

      Reamous

It's actually a good sign to dream of lucidity - it means you're thinking about it enough that it's filtering into your dreams - at least to the extent that you dream of being lucid. Usually the next step is actual lucidity.

I know how you feel. Its like since I've started to become lucid, I've gotten better dream control and my dream can fix problems with it without me being required to go fully lucid. Like if I lost something important in a dream and was freaking out, before I would have gotten lucid, now I would just make the item show up and go on with the dream. Not sure how to fix it unfortunantly.

I've experienced that a million times. But like Darkmatters says, it's a really really good sign. Just continue doing your RC's and awareness techniques during the day and you'll be ready to go.

Thank you all for the responses.

@Darkmatters: That makes me feel twenty times better! I was thinking it was bad, haha.

I would suggest a dream RC... but if that doesn't happen I would further suggest you are on the right path! Hang in there.

So this is a good sign, what Reamous is experiencing? I am put in a stessful situation in a dream quite often and I remember two times where I just left the scene, and tried to fly to check if it is a dream. It worked, and was quite aware, that I was in a dream, but I had absolute no control.

      Regards
      Lorgarn
      Come, thick night,
And pall thee in the dunnest smoke of hell,
That my keen knife see not the wound it makes,
Nor heaven peep through the blanket of the dark,
      To cry, 'Hold, hold!'
