I got sleep paralysis. Now what?

So yesterday, I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time (it actually wasn't as horrible as i expected it to be. there was just a small puppy on my foot and the feeling of being picked up by my legs and moved to the side). But as soon as the sp ended i couldn't go into a dream. I felt wide awake. Any tips into entering a lucid dream after going through sleep paralysis?

Sleep paralysis is ONLY if you can't move no matter what. Any sensations are just signs of falling asleep.

SP can't be induced at will. It's an involuntary bodily funcion, completely under control of our body. We don't have a say when it starts or ends.

SP is a disorder. Has nothing to do with lucid dreamning. So maybe thats why? Did you read any of the above links?

I recommend not moving at all till you start feeling that you are entering an image.
