Sleep schedule is #1 thing to do! |
|
It's a hypothetical world: One where we possess unlimited motivation to LD and have all the time (or nearly all the time available) during the day to adopt LDing habits. What technique would be most effective in this world? For example, someone posted on here a year or so about about their LD technique where they make themselves "blind" all day by blindfolding themselves and when they dream in the night and find they can see, they know they are dreaming. Almost certainly not a technique that can be used long term in waking life, but it may be very effective with unlimited motivation and all waking hours available to practice. |

My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

Programming the subconscious mind, for sure. What is MILD if not to use intention to have a lucid dream? With the properly worded affirmations and enough time, you could program your mind to have lucid dreams much easier. |

Would also be interested to know how long it takes major life changes to appear in dreams. How long does it take someone blinded to dream of being blind? When someone has to start using a wheelchair how long till they are in a wheelchair in dreams? |

That would obviously vary on the individual. Let's take something less extreme, like, moving into a new house. How long does it take to dream about it? We don't know. I wouldn't rely on it anyway. It's one reason why I don't like some of the methods around DILD. If you're not lucky enough to dream about a certain dream sign and have a successful reality check, then you'll remain non-lucid through no fault of your own. |

Spend 6 hours a day meditating, and 4 hours a day visualizing/feeling becoming lucid and doing intention work. Micro WBTB's. |
