      Need Help

Hi everybody. Well I need some help with my first lucid dreaming. I am trying the WILD method. I decided to try during one my daily naps. I laid down arms to the side, legs not crossed and no movements. 5 minutes later my left leg was starting to feel numb. 15 mintues my whole left leg and thigh were numb. Both hands felt like they were growing. My right foot was numb. As my eyes were closed I received a really really strong vibration pattern in my head. And then all I remember is waking up... What am I doing wrong? I am a beginner and if I'm doing everything wrong please tell me.
      THANKS EVERYONE

You didn't really do anything wrong, I'd say - you just didn't 'wake up' in a dream.

When the vibrations and sensations stop, do a reality check - if it works, open your eyes.

I suggest to you as a beginner to do other method like MILD or WBTB, it could realy help you in the beginning.

I tried WILD last night. No results except for numbness in legs, i get more "results" from naps after school.. The user above me said do a reality check.. Would finger through Palm suffice? And if I move would that make me restart?

Did you try WILDing last night before any sleep? WILDing is extremely hard to do prior to any sleep because you will by trying to induce a dream in NREM, which is very rare. WILD naps work because you had sleep prior to it and are lined up to have a REM sleep cycle (the period of sleep where we have most of our dreams).

I had a nap maybe 5+ hours before that.. I'm going to try after school when I am extremely tired. Should I be trying the WILD after I get sleep then wake up or try the WBTB technique?

      Need Help with 1st LD

      Hello everyone,
Well I've been trying the technique WILD, Well I need some help with my first lucid dreaming. I am trying the WILD method. I decided to try during one my daily naps. I laid down arms to the side, legs not crossed and no movements. 5 minutes later my left leg was starting to feel numb. 15 mintues my whole left leg and thigh were numb. What am I doing wrong? I am a beginner and if I'm doing everything wrong please tell me.

      EDIT

I tried today after school and the same thing happened except this time I say a ton of colors and two scenes appeared... One was a mountain with a cabin at the bottom and then the next Scene was a video of like if you were like falling through clouds..
But then all I remember is waking up...
What have I been doing wrong ?

I think you have very low recall, so that's why you wake up and can't remember anything. Do you keep a dream journal, and do you remember any dreams?

That's awesome! Okay, to gradually remember your dreams, write down everything, even if it's a small fragment or a feeling. Think about your dreams a lot. Eventually your recall will get better and better! Here's a helpful link on dream recall: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-sign...ompendium.html
