I took a 2.5 hour walk today. A good deal of it was studying things in minute detail that I usually don't do (although I do maintain general awareness usually). I picked up and carried me with and looked at a bit of granite, a small pine cone. Watched a stream of snow melting water running down a sandy hill carrying little particles of sediment with it, and drops of water on pine needles. Was pretty neat to do. |
