      Question Help with FILD method?

I've been trying to FILD for a while and I only came close ONE night. I just remember lying down on my side and pushing my index and middle fingers on the mattress. At different times, I feel like I fell asleep but when I do an RC, I'm still awake. Can someone help me with this problem? Also, when I move my fingers, do I try to fall asleep just like normal when doing that? Do I have to lie on my back or can I lie on my sides?

Try this method linked here. http://www.dreamviews.com/attaining-...nterested.html
It has the same principles of FILD and you may find it easier to accomplish.

The most difficult thing about either of these methods is whether you're tired enough. We've all experienced this. One minute in bed, and we're sound asleep. Sometimes it takes a little longer. But if you're not very sleepy, then you won't fall asleep fast enough for this too work.

Don't try to fall asleep. Let it happen on its own. Your body wants to shut down. Trust me when I say that the more you try, the more it won't happen. Take the pressure of failure off your mind and just perform the method with the mindset of, "I don't really care." Easier said than done at first, I know. But if you're focusing too much on getting back to sleep, and you're hurting yourself. You do it naturally all the time so just let it happen.

Trying too hard to fall asleep is like trying too hard to blink. Let your body do it naturally and easily.
