      Conflicting advice for DEILDS

Hi, i have been reading Michael radugas book 'The Phase', he suggests upon awakenings to perform indirect techniques (cycles) to produce OBE's a bit like SSILD. i tried this and was successful but he states in his book and on his forums that his techniques should only be perform 2-3 times per week. He is a huge authority in his field and so i must pay an equal amount of respect to his opinion and word.

This is confusing. I have always believed that the more practise you put into a technique, the stronger the neuro pathways would become and the stronger / easier the technique would become whether its ADA, WILD or whatever

To limit oneself to a highly effective technique only a few times per week seems odd and frustrating to me - it just dont make sense.

If i was to suggest that everyone on this forum should only attemp WILD, FILD, DILD, VILD only 2-3 times per week im sure i would get flogged senseless with a knotted rope :-/

So why would a DIELD technique such as Michael Raduga's OBE / Lucid dreaming say to only perform 2-3 time per week? I wanna perform it all the time every night!

Am i missing something obvious here

      Thanks guys
      Ezzo

Because if you try to do it every night/morning, it can exhaust you, unless you have experience in this 'field'. That, and the fact that if you do it daily, it might introduce a level of routine which can make you not try as hard as you would if you only had the chance to do it 2-3 times per week.

Also, and sort of repeating some of what Mimi already said, limiting yourself to practicing a technique to once or twice a week elevates the importance of that technique.

If you have days or even a week to look forward to your DEILD attempt, that attempt becomes much more important to you on a lot of levels, so your mind has a better chance of being in the right place to make it a successful attempt. There is real value in making things like DEILD attempts into events rather than just a nightly routine, especially in the beginning.
