Thread: How long does it take for WILD?

Hey there,

In my experience, it takes as long as it takes you to fall asleep. Which means it can happen in seconds or it can take hours. There's very little difference between falling asleep and WILD'ing, except your keeping your consciousness 'switched on', so to speak. Because of this, you might experience a lot of strange sensations, but as far as I knew these are simply the sensations of your body going to sleep (relevant only in so far that they indicate you're close to falling asleep, though they can form an obstacle if you focus on them too much, as they tend to keep you awake). The key to WILD'ing lies in that moment of transition between being awake and being asleep, and managing to hold on to your awareness and consciousness as it happens.
