Sometimes I'll have control in my dreams but I don't realize I'm dreaming. I'll just think it's real and that I actually have these cool powers that let me beat up bad stuff and jump really high into the air and fly, etc.

My guess is this isn't lucid because I'm not aware that I am dreaming but it's still cool because I have control even though I think it's real. It's kind of odd I guess. But is this an ULD?

So far I haven't had any success intentionally inducing an LD (have had them in the past) but my dream recall has gotten much better in the past week since discovering this site.
