      Dream journal question

People say if you write things down you tend to remember them alot more.....my problem is that i have a dream journal that i do write in but find it annoying to write all the time.
Do any of you lucid dreamers have online dream journals? i think id feel better writing my dreams online as i can type alot quicker than writing...hopefully it wont effect my ability to remember dreams? Thanks =)

      Hey there,
I think you are in the majority in finding it annoying/difficult to write in a physical DJ, myself included. Well, not really annoying, but it seems like the effort is too much or not worth it or something similar, right? Anyways I've been using the DreamViews DJ system for the past few months as my main DJ and it has worked fine. I normally open a little notepad document or something and type up sentence long descriptions of my dreams as soon as I wake up, then either go back to sleep or try to remember some more and then go off and have breakfast or whatever. I tend to actually write my dreams in full a few hours after I wake up, which I'm sure results in some loss of recall/feeling for the dream but I feel much more motivated to write them in full when not zombie like. That also lets some lost fragments of dreams float to me in the hours after waking which I can then write about. When you do go to write your dreams in full, on paper or digitally, looking over those little descriptions helps a lot to jump start your recall.
So long story short I and I'm sure plenty of others use online/digital dream journals and it works fine. Maybe the extra time needed to open up a computer or phone and the app or whatever, compared to immediately writing them down could result in a little bit of recall loss but it would be minimal and nothing to worry about. Blue light from screens could make it more difficult to go back to sleep though so I suggest setting brightness to low. Hopefully this as helpful .
