Naturally is best that is why you want to tell yourself (at sleep time) that your dreams are important and that you will wake after them, and remember them etc. (and or use something to cause you to wake after every dream like drink lots of water at night). If you wake at alarm and or start thinking about being awake instead of thinking about having just been in a dream you will lose them quickly
I have been using an alarm that hightens up the sound gradually for a smoother wake up.I count downwards from 100 to 1 as i fall asleep an use the mantra "i wake up after each dream and remember it" after each number.When i drink water i normally wake up 2-3 hours latet so i dont have dreams during that time...maybe its because i drink a lot of water throughout the day...Last time this happened i drank 2 glasses of water..i can drink less i guess.It is very hard to wake up naturally for the day though cause i am at the university at the moment and i have to attain classes early in the morning.So i have to make sure i wakd up.
