      Dream recall dry spell?

So my problem is that I've always been good at dream recall (I mean, I'm not a master, but I usually am able to remember at least 2 dreams without effort), but this week I have been able only to remember a dream, and it was all foggy and blurry... I'm not stressed or anything (as far as I know lol ). So... Any help?

Well, i suggest waiting some more (maybe a month or so) to see if the problem lasts. If it does, try writing all the dream you can remember down to train the memory. Good luck!

Forgot to mention lol, I already write a dream journal, the problem is this week I just had NOTHING to write, not even a hint of a dream, it's really weird. Today at least, I've been able to remember a very very blurry dream, but I guess it's something...

Sometimes it happens and dream recall can change for a reason or for no reason, there can be ups and downs, but it will definitely be back, think positive!
Try to lie still for a while as you wake up and remember the dream, also even when you have nothing to write, write something positive anyway, like "Couldn't remember any dreams, but sure they were fun and my recall will be back soon". You can also try using mantra while falling asleep, like "I wake up after each dream and remember it", memory practice can help too, try recalling whole day before going to sleep.

Dry spells happen, and as long as you want to recall dreams, the recall will return.

My suggestion: write in your dream journal even if you have "nothing to write", for example, write how many hours you slept (start and end time), how you felt upon waking up, if you have no recall write "I did not remember a single dream", but if upon waking up your mind started thinking about work or family etc write that down, also if you have a sense that you remember having a dream but do not remember what it was about write that, and also do you feel tired/well-rested/content/reluctant etc upon waking up. See, you can always have something to write in a dream journal. And this will help your mind stay focused on your intention to recall dreams.

Also, do you have a dream journal next to your bed, and have you ever written in it in the middle of the night during a nighttime awakening? There have been times when my morning recall upon awakening for good was not good at all, but when I could recall some dreams in the middle of the night if I bothered to write them down before falling back to sleep (otherwise they got lost). Did you know that we all wake up several times in the middle of the night, but usually we just turn over and go back to sleep and forget about it by morning? If you focus your intention on whenever you wake up in the night, noticing it, and recalling dreams, and writing them down, often this intention is enough to make it happen.

Alternatively, maybe you need a break and more rest, more deep sleep. It may help to for a few nights just forget about any intentions to recall dreams, and just make sure to get plenty of rest, and then come back to the effort refreshed a few days later.

Ok, thanks! But what do you mean by recalling the whole day? Do you mean like writing it in my dream journal?

I have written some dreams in the night, I usually remember them better, but this week I didn't wake up in the middle of the night I think I'm going to try a WBTB tonight, to see if that helps. If not, I will just take a break with dream recall for a couple of days and just relax

Well, like everything that happened during day, though i was talking about just recalling, i've used to do that when my recall was nearly non-existent in the beginning, journaling it as well somewhere can help too though i guess.

Lots of things can change recall. Stress is a big one, but the biggest is sleep schedule. A simple change in sleep schedule can cause a huge change in your recall. I would recommend getting your recall up as high as possible (preferably 5-6 long dreams a night through siphoning through these and finding which works best for you:http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-sign...ompendium.html

After you get to 5-6 long dreams a night, even stress can't take more than 2-3 dreams away. I would also recommend using my DJ system in order to find out what recall techniques you used as well as LDing techniques, because they compliment each other well and the system can show you what changes what, for you specifically.

      Good luck on dreaming.

Also what scionox said about recalling the day is a very powerful technique if practiced consistently.
