Sounds more like being in NREM 1 or maybe phasing into 2. Depends on what time of night it is. If REM is approaching, most people are going to experience other phenomena, and not just silence. What does it "look" like in this quiet place? |

FAC means "fall asleep consciously." Definitely NREM 1 and prob. Moving into 2. If you want to WILD, better to wake up after a few hours (4-6) and try when REM is more available. Practicing at bedtime can lead to lucid deep sleep though (which yogis say is our ground awareness or "true" nature) so it depends on what you are after. |
