Is it poosible not to have a dream sign?

People say things like ' in nearly every dream i see a ball' or something but i feel my dreams are that random that if i pick a dream sign ill only see it once maybe a month as non of them are that re occuring.
What is the best way to practise becoming lucid with dream signs is it just mantras and RCing? Ima haveto dive into my dream recordings and really try and find something but its gonna be hard!

It's okay not knowing what your dream sign is yet. It takes a long time for people to figure out and a lot of people have multiple dream signs so everything just looks random at first. Like mine for example, my dream signs are: Zombies, a mall, and a school. It took me awhile to figure out that the mall was one of them since I thought it was just a setting. I'm not sure if it is possible to not have a dream sign but maybe your dream sign is something that doesn't seem like it would be one. Take the school for an example, I'm homeschooled so it was easy for me to realize it was a dream sign, but if you were someone who did go to school it wouldn't seem out of the ordinary that you dream about it. In the end though, dream signs help you become lucid as much as doing RCs every time you wake up so you shouldn't worry too much if you haven't found yours yet.

Thanks for the reply and yeah i see what yoursaying that maybe it could be something as random as maybe an emotion or dream setting.
I think im going to sit down and re listen to all my dreams the past few months and see what connections i find.
Iv been lucid dreaming for about 3 years now and iv tried dofferent techniques but it seems alot more beneficial and more likely to become lucid once you know your signs
I do sometimes dream of bieng at work which was the last time i became lucid but i only dream of work once maybe a month so once i find a more occuring dream sign im sure ill be on the path =)

You should do what im going to do later which is listen or read my dreams from the past 2-3 months and write down certain words from each dream such as 'seing family' or 'bieng in an unknown place' etc and see what words come up the most....once iv cracked the main thing that happens in most of my dreams the closer i get to having the ability to lucid dream everynight because right now i have 1 lucid dream every 2 or 3 weeks which sucks =/
