Odd finding?? Everyone using Awoken app, please chime in :)

I was searching the dream journals recorded in my copy of the Awoken app for any occurrence of the word "eyes" and noticed something peculiar that may have something to do with helping to attain lucidity. 76% of the of the entries that contained the word "eyes" were also nights in which I became lucid at some point during the night. This is compared to lucidity occurring one or more times in about 37% of all of my entries recorded in the app.

Why would the occurrence of the word "eyes" in a DJ entry seemingly double the likelihood that I am lucid during the same sleeping period in which I mentioned "eyes" in a lucid or non-lucid dream journal entry?

I know this sounds out there, but there may be a more straightforward scientific explanation. One that comes to mind is that when you check the box in the app saying that you became lucid during that date it puts an eye icon next to the DJ entry, perhaps helping to create some kind of correlation trigger in your subconscious between noticing eyes and becoming lucid (even if in a different dream scene). Another explanation could be something to do with noticing eyes in dreams being more likely to occur when your awareness is higher, though the eyes are most often mentioned in the text of a non lucid dream journal entry during the same sleep period in which I became lucid in a later dream. That seems to be the most commonly occurring example for me.

*Can anyone else who regularly uses the app please check their "Oneironaut Achievements" for number of LD's versus number of journal entries (both on same achievements page) and also search for "eyes" at the top of the DJ entries list and report back either the numbers or the percentages? (whichever you prefer)

I first decided to search for "eyes" in my DJ entries after I read lucid dreaming author Daniel Love's post here on DV referencing something he noticed about eyes in this post: #9

If you haven't heard yet, he also has a Lucid Dreaming Kickstarter campaign: http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...de-cosmos.html
